Artist:
OB Succari is a highly skilled Master Percussionist and Composer who leads the Latin Jazz ensemble PanaMO based in Detroit. Hailing from Bocas Del Toro, Republic of Panama, OB’s passion for music and percussion began at the young age of nine. He draws inspiration from legendary figures such as Tito Puente, Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaria, and Candido Camero, and is well-known for his unique Panamanian-style Latin Jazz music, fused with Afro-Latin rhythms. OB moved to Michigan in October 2001 to create a sound that stands out from the rest.
