Every Thursday evening at Marquette Park is Music in the Park, sponsored by the Mackinac Arts Council. This is a great opportunity to pack a snack or get a pizza and enjoy music and the beautiful view. One of many events during the summer put together by the Arts Council. Verified full time employees of Island businesses are given complimentary entrance for themselves (not guests) into Fort Mackinac and the historic living history museums. This is a often overlooked free time option- and lots of fun.
